According to astrology Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes handle break-ups very differently.
The famous couple, who tied the knot in 2010 and presented a slew of prime-time TV shows together for over a decade, announced they were getting a divorce in May 2024.
While the pair aim to keep things amicable, it’s been claimed that their relationship breakdown is due to work commitments taking their marriage “in different directions”.
The pair are now getting to know life without one another and ExpressOnline has dug a little deeper to see how they will be dealing with this major change.
Astrology expert Inbaal Honigman was on hand to give us the down low.
Eamonn is born under the star sign of Sagittarius, while Ruth is a Pisces.
Speaking on behalf of SpinGenie, Inbaal pointed out: “Pisces will find the immediate aftermath of the breakup difficult. Pisceans like Ruth tend to blame themselves following a breakup.
“Love, however, finds Pisces no matter how much they try and hide because being in love is central to their personality, so they are able to move on from relationships and find love again,” she added of the Loose Women presenter.
However, the same can’t be said for Sagittarius Eamonn, as Inbaal noted: “Sagittarius appears to cope well with breakups initially. Sagittarians like Eamonn tend to look for ways to show that they’re emancipated following a breakup.”
“Big changes like house move, new job or a big shift in their looks is how they show themselves that they’re feeling better. They won’t rush into a new committed relationship and will enjoy sleeping diagonally for as long as they can,” she went on to clarify.
When it comes to what the future holds for the once-golden TV couple, the astrology expert didn’t rule out a possible reconciliation between the pair.
“Pisces have a fondness for nostalgia and love to think of the past, so Ruth, who is Piscean, may want to be together again,” Inbaal claimed.
As she stated: “Sagittarians tend to look to the future, and therefore Eamonn, who is Sagittarius, would need to know that the relationship will be quite different and unlike the past, if he were to consider a reconciliation.”
